The season finale of the endurance championship took place at the iconic Jeddah Corniche Circuit, a 6.174-kilometer track known for its high-speed straights and challenging 27-turn layout along the stunning Red Sea coastline.
A Strong Start: P1 in Pre-Qualifying and Front Row on Race Day
On Friday, GRT Grasser Racing Team showcased their potential by securing the top spot in Pre-Qualifying, claiming P1 with a commanding performance. This momentum carried into Saturday’s Qualifying session, where our drivers Marco Mapelli, Franck Perera, and Jordan Pepper secured P2, earning a well-deserved start from the front row for Sunday’s endurance showdown.
A Battle for Glory: The 6 Hours of Jeddah
Sunday’s race was nothing short of spectacular, filled with intense battles and relentless determination. From the very start, the GRT Grasser Racing Team’s Lamborghini showed exceptional pace. Thanks to the skill and dedication of Marco, Franck, and Jordan, we surged into P1 for several laps, igniting hope for a victory in the season finale.
Throughout the six hours of high-stakes racing, the team pushed boundaries, hitting lap-after-lap with precision and resilience. Despite the fierce competition, our drivers kept their focus and consistently delivered extraordinary performances. However, as the race unfolded, strategic factors and on-track dynamics saw us finish the race in P2, securing a well-earned spot on the podium.
Vice Champions: A Season of Hard Work and Achievement
While the ultimate championship title remained just out of reach, GRT Grasser Racing Team proudly clinched the Vice Championship title, a testament to the relentless effort and dedication displayed throughout the season. Bringing this accolade home was no small feat and reflects the hard work of everyone involved—from the drivers to the engineers and crew.
A Special Thanks to Our Drivers and Team
Marco Mapelli, Franck Perera, and Jordan Pepper pushed themselves to the absolute limit in every single lap, showcasing their exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination. Their relentless drive, coupled with the tireless efforts of the entire GRT Grasser Racing Team, allowed us to compete at the highest level and achieve remarkable results.

Qualifying: P2 – Rennen: P2
“2024 has come to an end, and finishing with P2 in the race and P2 overall in the championship feels bittersweet. It’s tough knowing we truly deserved the title, but in the end, there can only be one champion. Still, securing P2 among so many competitors is a remarkable achievement.
A huge thank you to Marco and Franck for bringing me on board from Spa onward—it’s been an absolute honor and a real pleasure to race with the Mountain Wolf and the Grasser Racing Team. This season was filled with highs and lows, but we always fought our way to the front and never gave up until the checkered flag. My deepest gratitude goes out to the entire team for their incredible effort.”
Jordan Pepper
“I am incredibly proud, though I can’t deny feeling a bit sad that we lost the championship title by such a narrow margin. Still, I can confidently say we gave absolutely everything this season. It was an amazing experience to share the car with Jordan and Marco, and I’m grateful to the Grasser Racing Team for setting up such a perfect car.
Having Mountain Wolf with us was truly special – it was a perfect match! I only wish we had won the championship so I could have given something back to Mountain Wolf and the Grasser Racing Team. It will take some time to come to terms with losing the ‘big trophy’ so closely, but I am grateful for everything we achieved this season.”
Franck Perera
“I think we proved this season what we’re capable of by winning races and consistently staying at the front. Unfortunately, we couldn’t bring home the title, but I’m confident we’ll be back at the front next year.
A huge thank you to Grasser Racing and Mountain Wolf for always pushing with us and believing in us.”
Marco Mapelli
“It was a very good race with many ups and downs. In the first phase of the initial FCY, we unfortunately had no opportunity to make a pit stop due to an unfortunate decision by race control. Despite that, we were doing very well at the front and consistently drove between P1 and P3. Until minute 38 of the race, we were still in contention for the championship title, but another FCY allowed Ferrari to move up and unfortunately take the crucial points we needed to win the championship. All in all, however, it must be said that it was an absolutely satisfying season. With the win at the Nürburgring, 5th place in Spa-Francorchamps, and finally P2 here in the 6 Hours of Jeddah race, we can truly say we had a wonderful and exciting racing season. We always gave our best, and with the vice-championship title, we must and can be proud! A huge thank you goes to Mountain Wolf, as well as Lamborghini, and of course to our drivers and the entire team. THANK YOU!”
