Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium – In what will go down as a legendary moment in GT3 history, the GRT \u2013 Grasser Racing Team, in partnership with Mountain Wolf, has claimed a sensational overall victory at the 77th edition of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. With factory drivers Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper, and Luca Engstler behind the wheel of the #63 Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n GT3 EVO2, the team delivered a flawless performance in front of 128,000 spectators, writing Lamborghini’s name into the Spa winner’s list for the first time ever.<\/p>\n

The journey to victory began with a steady start in Thursday’s Pre-Qualifying, where the #63 car placed P25 with a best lap of 2:18.682. But as focus and pace sharpened, Friday’s combined Qualifying saw the trio surge to P13 overall, with impressive laps across the board – including a 2:17.178 that hinted at the car\u2019s potential.<\/p>\n
In Superpole, Jordan Pepper took on the pressure of the flying lap, clocking a strong 2:16.250 which placed the Lamborghini P12. However, due to a grid penalty, the car started from P19 on race day, setting the stage for a comeback of epic proportions.<\/p>\n

From the green flag to the checkered, the #63 was a constant threat. With smart strategy, flawless pit work, and aggressive but calculated driving, GRT steadily climbed through the field. By sunrise, the Hurac\u00e1n GT3 EVO2 was leading the charge at Spa.<\/p>\n
As the race wore on and strategy battles intensified – especially against the Rutronik Porsche – it was Mirko Bortolotti’s decisive overtake at the Bus Stop with under two hours to go that turned momentum into control.<\/p>\n
Even a minor delay in the final stop couldn’t shake the determination.<\/p>\n
But it almost slipped away. During the final pit stop, with just 38 minutes to go, the #63 Lamborghini refused to fire up \u2013 standing still for three to four agonizing seconds. In that moment, time itself seemed to freeze. Everyone in the pit lane, from the GRT crew to Mountain Wolf guests, held their breath. The silence felt like an eternity.<\/p>\n
When the engine finally roared back to life, it was a race against the clock: the car had to exit the pit lane ahead of the chasing Rutronik Porsche. Every tenth of a second mattered. It was a high-stakes moment that demanded flawless execution and somehow, the team delivered.<\/p>\n
The final stint demanded everything. With the Porsche hunting just eight tenths behind, Bortolotti managed traffic like a master, opened the gap, and brought the #63 Lamborghini across the line with 549 laps completed FIRST OVERALL.<\/p>\n
